Matt C. Abbot writes that Randy Engel has a new book coming out about the Clergy Sex Abuse crisis. Author of Sex Education: The Final Plague, I believe Mrs. Engel is probably responsible for the huge movement to homeschool after parents, I should say "some parents" realized what their children were being exposed to in the classroom.
Mrs. Engel is the president of the U.S. Coalition for Life, the organization that sounded the alarm about the March of Dimes and its goal of promoting eugenic programs and abortion for babies with birth defects.
Given her no-holds-barred approach to exposing the truth and her unwillingness to be intimidated by those who hold positions of power, I expect this book to be an important turning point for the Church in America. We can only hope.

Sounds like a great read...but...$64.00?? Do you think it will be put on line for all to read? If you buy a copy, you could serialize it in this blog! At one page a day, it would only take 4 years to complete!

I REALIZE THERE WAS MUCH SEXUAL ABUSE WITH THE CATHOLIC CLERGY, BUT SOME OF THE ACCOUNTS MS. ENGEL RELATES APPEAR TO BE HEARSAY, UNSUBSTANTIATED, SENSATIONALIZED OR ATTRIBUTED TO SOMEONE'S TESIMONY WHICH SHE TAKES VERBATIM. THERE WERE ENOUGH REAL CASES WITHOUT GOING THERE.
Randy Engel was right to bring to our attention all evidence anecdotal, objective or otherwise. The Church has become a cesspit of compromise, subdivision & corruption. Fr Paul Marx OSB (RIP) described the modern church as in a state of total chaos. It has a vernacular liturgy to match. There is almost no discipline and the hierarchy has nearly been horizontalised like the modern presbyterate. Many seminaries became sodomite hothouses and together with a more than lenient liberal modernist approach we now witness a modern church that is in a state of terminal decline. Thankfully, Our Blessed Lord through His Holy Mother will save His visible body on earth when Her Immaculate Heart triumphs. In the meantime, sodomy and gay politics are going to wreak even more havoc on the modernist new catholic church. Thank you Randy Engel for not sparing the truth which will always out, in any case and, according to Sacred Scriptures, will be shouted from the house tops.
@rosotok, thank you for your comment! Actually less than 1 PERCENT of Catholic priests have been accused of se/xual misbehavior and less than that, proven. Compare to 10% of Protestant ministers (yes, and married ones) and 20% of public school teachers! (official statistics). Bottom line, church is not a haven for the perfect but a M.A.S.H. for sinners and glad I am of that, as a church for the perfect would have no place for me in it! So why do we hear ONLY about less than 1 percent of Catholic priests accused and never hear about the 99% of priests who are keeping their vows? Simple, errant priests make much better news than those who are holy. ** sigh ** As for Randy, I quote Fr Robert Fox: "It doesn't matter whether you jump off the boat to the right or to the left, you are STILL off the boat!" St Augustine was a homose/xual and is now called saint. Maybe God does not feel as you do about s/s attraction.
